Indian coffee for roasters.
Compare Indian green coffee by preparation, physical specification and cup assessment before selecting a roasting lot.
Build a green-coffee brief
State Arabica or Robusta, washed or natural processing, the intended roast application and the quantity needed. If you buy against an existing specification, include the grade, screen distribution, crop year and acceptable defect-assessment basis.
Separate physical grade from cup quality
A grade describes physical preparation; it does not replace a cup assessment. Request the proposed lot identity and available assessment details, then evaluate a sample against your own roast and brewing method. Record both the target profile and the profile you receive.
Move from a sample to a purchasing decision
Confirm whether the sample represents the proposed supply lot. Discuss lot availability, packing, sample costs and dispatch arrangements before treating an evaluation as an order. Reconfirm the specification and available quantity when proceeding.
